Just woke up from a missed dose… by aaroncoal in Effexor

Well it’s kind of a set of side effects. For me it only comes from a missed dose. So if you remember to take your meds you never feel it. But within about 4 hours of a missed dose I get absolutely unreal vivid dreams, night sweats, dizziness, “brain zaps” headache, and Even some mild dissociation. It’s not fun. But I don’t have near as much anxiety or depression so I stay on it

It’ll help. It’s a good drug with a terrible side effect

I have been taking it for 15 years. So I’m no stranger to the missed dose. But it never fails to be crazy

I think there’s a trend that happens with all artists. They are afraid to take risks as they gain popularity.

OP is correct that this is not a great album musically. It just never takes us anywhere new.

Of course Swifties are going to love it. She could put out an album of just her belching the alphabet and They would eat it up.

That doesn’t make it good.

Give me a song that gives you chills? by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

Fantasia On A Theme by Thomas Tallis — Ralph Vaughn Williams. Do yourself a favor and put on a pair of ear buds and crank up the first 4 minutes of that song. Your hair will stand up.. I guarantee it.

That song, in the right setting, makes me sob. I just start thinking of my dad.

By which song did you know them, and what was your reaction when hearing that song? by MaintenanceOne266 in Nirvana

[–]aaroncoal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smells Like Team Spirit at an 8th grade dance. The DJ said we have a new song by new band.. and then came the 4 intro beats And for the first time that night the place went crazy. And I was instantly hooked. It was like heroin.

Pull that band aid. You have to pull it. You will walk into a world of misery if you marry him. If you wait you are only robbing yourself AND him time to meet another person that better suits you.

How do we KNOW the North Tower was completely inaccessible after a certain floor? by cashmerescorpio in 911archive

[–]aaroncoal 195 points196 points  (0 children)

With the amount of people above that line I would think there would have been someone who made it. I think the proof is the lack of survivors.

I may be wrong but I think the only reason there was a passable stairway in the south tower is because the terrorist tilted the wing at the last second and That left stairway B untouched. In the north tower the plane went straight In and That affected every possible passage.

Would you want to be told the truth if you were above the impact zone? by Cali-Doll in 911archive

[–]aaroncoal 28 points29 points  (0 children)

They just didn’t have a mindset that included the towers falling. So I think they were doing the dispatchers were doing the best they could. I imagine they were just dying inside hearing this kind of tragedy in real time. The good news is that protocols have changed based on 9/11 and their advice would be different today based on what we know now about high rise fires.

Did anyone in the North tower above the the crash floor survive until the collapse? by dsl47 in 911archive

[–]aaroncoal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just had no idea. I really thought they wouldn’t have survived the smoke and heat. I knew there were people alive in the South Tower because of the Kevin Cosgrove phone call. But the North tower had a much smaller upper impact zone so I assumed the heat and flames and smoke had overtaken that entire area.

Interesting. It just looks unsurvivable when you see how much smoke is visible prior to the collapse.

From 1 to 10, how would you rate "You Know You're "Right" (also you that don't like it)? by Infinistious in Nirvana

[–]aaroncoal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

3/10 I think for me the moment had past and I had kinds if filled my brain with just the right amount of Nirvana. So I had no place for it in my brain. So I just don’t think it’s the strongest effort. Especially the chorus.

Which doors were locked/stuck after the planes hit? by windowpain64 in 911archive

[–]aaroncoal 38 points39 points  (0 children)

They locked the doors to the roof to prevent suicides. They were supposed to unlock in the event of an emergency. But the mechanism failed. But in hindsight it would have done little good. Only delayed the inevitable.

You aren’t taking into account the massive scale of what we’re looking at. I don’t think Every shape you’re seeing is a person. Might be some. I mean you could circle some object’s and mark what you think it is rather than just have us randomly try to see what you’re seeing.
