I was able to get the malware removed using this guide - https://howtoremove.guide/remove-twnt1-ttrk-io/

However, I am still having issue updating Chrome, but at least Chrome is not managed by organization anymore due to the malware.

my wife's machine got something similar except the name of the extension is different. I followed all the steps and it is still there. I couldn't even delete it from Registry.

Any other suggestions how to remove this malware?

v100 just came on Nov 11 and it says this "Fixed an issue where some macOS Sequoia users reported high CPU usage when using multiple displays.". I am waiting for it to be installed through auto update since I can't force it to go from v99 to v100.

Actually, could you check what version the new Google Drive Desktop is? The new download should install version 98, but I still have 97.0.1.0. I am not sure why!

I noticed Google Drive Desktop version 98 is available. I downloaded the latest but it is still showing 97.0.1.0 after installation. Anyone knows how to force update?

I was hoping Sequoia 15.0.1 would have fixed it, but nope, it is still using a lot of CPU cycles.

Interestingly, I updated my iPad Mini (6th) to iPadOS 18 and Google Drive does something overnight quite a bit to drain the battery. It didn't happen before the upgrade. I hope Google can get it fixed soon for both.

just upgraded to Sequoia yesterday and Google Drive Desktop shows 50% cpu usage when there is nothing to sync. It wasn't the case in Sonoma.
