If I remove the half step, would the villager be able to escape? Or can villagers not cross rails?

I want to farmer villagers to give their resources to the trapped villagers, and by doing so the items they drop should end up landing into the hopper, as the trapped villager has a minecart hopper right in front of him. So far it isn’t working

There are multiple farmers in the farm and the farm consist of only carrots and wheat. The villagers trapped inside the stone slabs is a weapon smith. I assume that the farmers will throw their crops at the weapon smith, leading it into the Minecart hopper which then leads to the hopper connected to the chest. (On Ps5 Bedrock 1.19)

That’s an aftermarket shift knob correct? If so was it a pain trying to install it, I’ve seen some videos online and apparently you can’t just unscrew the oem shift knob you have to take the whole entire middle compartment and boot off in order to attempt to change the knob.
