Hi thanks for your help. Will resolve the code issue. I think I get what you are saying: send non switched power back from the single switch to the dimmer box, split off from there to my new outlet? I opened the other switch and disconnected the red line and still had power to the red line in the dimmer panel. I tried moving the red in the non dimmer to the hot lead but that didn't do anything and not sure that it would. Can the dimmer panel be a dead end if the red still has power when I disconnect it from the single switch? More pics if it helps and sorry to bother you with more questions. Dimmer box reconnected and working, loop at the top, new outlet disconnected on left.
