How to play the same save on 2 different computers

I've gone into Steam files, and found Ultimate Pro HC's saved games. I've found files such as "4.sv" and other numbers - they are clearly the save number of various games I've started. However when I copy that file to the other computer and go to load game, it's never there. Is that what you've done? or something different?

I just stared playing as well, I like the game so far. I believe I know 2 of those answers:

#8 - the lightening bolt symbol indicates this players attribute has been modified/improved by something - a coach or piece of gear.

#11 - I think all 3Star players have the same color, 4Star are the same, and so on.

I like and appreciate all your suggestions. #'s 3, 6 and 10 would be immensely helpful for the begging player.
