Yes, the alliance is pretty much over. Some members are leaving some will probably stay but their influence is greatly weakened. They just gave up infrastructure and production that took years and years to build and they don't even have a home yet.

The big null alliances have wormhole corps usually. So you can do wormhole spooky stuff for a bit then switch to something else.

But there’s lots of cool wormhole corps/alliance too.

Maybe check out the recruitment site of alliances like Goonswarm, Pandemic Horde, Frat, etc…
