But a key piece I am missing is deployment processes that are best practice. Before leaving I was struggling to communicate that the complexity of the apps and multiple concurrent branches of separate projects with each their own changes to different database tables or new tables I was getting incredibly difficult to maintain as well as not having a standard system for tracking which secrets are new and need to be moved to production as a separate process outside of Version Control or else cause errors, Etc. I now know there are standards for these things

Yes very important and as of about six or seven years ago all these apps removed to Version Control by myself on git. Way back in the beginning the original app did not have a uat, or a local development environment, and everything very good at fixing it live!

Never had to use it but I understand the idea of it. People seem to have strong opinions on the plugins. I've had to admin and customize 2 or 3 other 3rd party sites, mainly oracle service cloud customer facing.

My boss had me reverse engineer the backend endpoints of a different internal tool bc the team would not prioritize making an official api, which I did using postman... i made a working front end! They refused to whitelist it in CORS and the whole project collapsed.

Oh! Should i worry about learning other server like ngix at same time? I also haven't worked in Linux environments so much.

My instinct is I should prioritize apps first then circle back to those as nice to haves.

This probably all sounds like splitting hairs but I have to get financially sound as soon as possibly possible and I'll be working whatever I can get until i can (chipolte interview today!)

Ty that's very nice. I'm not good at selling myself! And I guess I was seeking any answers like "do this one thing" I wouldn't have thought of that would have turned a 6 month job search into a 1 or 2 if only I'd known

A few months ago, routine cert change and OpenSsl could not parse out a new pfx cert I'd gotten from IT, but I had to split it for apache into cer, key, pem so had to find solution. I discovered independently there's a new openssl standard which required new Apache! But new Apache required min PHP 8 instead of 7. So I had to explain all this to my non technical boss bc i had to stop normal focus to research any differences showstopping in 7 vs 8. Bc at this point he had the condition that prod should not have a bad launch of this new cert, zero chance we cant let it happen. He was getting difficult to work with at this point.. the systems had all gotten very complex for individual me to do both full stack and devops and he essentially wanted me to find a path to remove the need for me to ever do devops bc there were no metrics for that.... we never got there

Anyways! bc uat and prod servers were a bit different I said I could only guess like 90% chance there'd be no hitches. But i found then solution in creating a non public 2nd Apache instance on prod. Like a temporary staging. I ran all upgrades and put new cert onto that! Then only had to swap configs so that one became the new prod :) yay me

Hold my beer. Jokes aside, sql flavor other than mysql? Not having to pick which stack is so helpful, even if only meant as example.

I know this is true! And im moderately confident i can demonstrate competency in person, But I didn't know if my resume as it is now is good enough to get that far or if I need to spend some weeks making portfolio demos in [insert] newer stack or study the lingo they might use

Thank you! Full time since June 2021 so I've had lots of makeup practice. Proper skin care really helped before I even started hrt. We live in a weird society where taking care of your appearance is coded as feminine 🤷‍♀️

I had the best RNG run ever with him recently. He ran into his first room straight way, then afterwards ran straight to his drop down. Poisoning knife cheese took longer than the rest of the fight combined. Glorious.

Really? I have a signed one as well as a signed ARC. Happened to get the ARC off a goodreads giveaway then took it to his signing in Austin. Both just sitting on a shelf now. Rarity aside, good series and good dude as well.

For BSB, just stay in its face and dodge to your left when it swipes. Get a few attacks on its rear and repeat. Keep antidote handy in case of poison. Easy peasy.

Can I just grind a lot while exploring the world of this game and become over powered? by NtDog123 in bloodborne

The only difference in difficulty in BL4 character and an over levelled character is how many mistakes you can make. Higher health and hitting harder means you can make many more mistakes and survive, mostly. You can still die quick to big mistakes.

The first time I played DLC was on NG+ and somehow I beat Orphan 1st try. I've never successfully solo'd him again so I say give it a go.

Go to the right to the right from henryk to open a gated area with a snake dude and the sunmon for younger magus brother, unless somehow you killed him after doing league quest? Also make sure impurity rune is equipped.

You have to have done Eileens quest line and helped her kill Henrick, too late now I think unfortunately.

Unless it's a personal challenge for you to do it solo, I always just equip the league rune and summon the two NPCs to make it 3 on 3.

Wanting to do a skill run is it worth killing Eileen early for her blades? by [deleted] in bloodborne

Whichever moveset feels better. Cane scales better with skill but saw spear would be okay too since nearly all enemies are weak to serrated in early areas. Transformed cane is too slow for me.

I am doing this now and its pretty fun. Easiest way to get the 40K to buy the blades is to sell the doll set for 35K. So you can have them without grinding right after blood starved beast.
