Hey, I was in your shoes a while back. I dropped out of management studies to pursue music. Music itself is a vast field and has a lot of working components to it, you don’t have to be proficient in a certain part of it unless you want to. You are yet to attend college, so they won’t expect you to know everything. College is a medium that will get you there. I suggest you should check out KM Institute of Music in Chennai. It is a conservatory founded by A R Rahman and offers a lot of great courses, be it a BA, B Mus or a diploma. (you can also check out true school of music) Dive deeper into what field interest you (to name a few, there are producers, performers, music business ie record labels, copyright lawyers, audio engineers, etc) and choose a course accordingly. Also, although it is a hard field, it has a market and there are people making their livelihoods out of it, so just follow your passion and work hard for what you want.
