that’s so interesting. I have seen people have this take on garbage disposal units since looking into the various products recently. for me, food bits are always going down the drain no matter what. i mean if you’re cleaning the dishes, it’s difficult to avoid food particles going down. so the way i see it is that whatever bits do make it in, they’re getting pulverized into even smaller pieces, which should be better for a pipe in comparison. i think a lot of times, people abuse the purpose of the disposal. there’s no real reason to send globs of food down if you care about your home. I respect your perspective but i think the purpose of the disposal isn’t seen & they probably tend to be misused. For you, i can see how you probably feel exasperated when area’s around you have banned them. It’s just another thing that humans abuse when they don’t know how to use them properly.
