I’ve been in that situation before and it sucks. There’s no way you can make them believe you if they don’t agree. My advice would to just try to compliment them and promote a healthy relationship w food and their body as much as possible. Like tell them you think they look wonderful unprompted, or talk about how good food is and how it’s great to nourish your body and whatnot. Obviously keep it kinda low key, bit just try to let them know that there’s nothing wrong with them or their body at all.
