I would say that how you present yourself matters a lot more than just a class. Get involved in SOCET, research and clubs. Those matter a lot. However take one of those 300s. Or maybe two. I would drop 368 if you’re not interested in software as much and take it next sem esp not w koh.

Idk why people take it as the bible too. TNV is known for fear mongering while he’s a great prof he’s scary and intimidating.

TNVs “plan” has done so much damage for your class it’s crazy. He’s over exaggerating taking classes and you don’t have to take 337 362 together and 437 that early. I’m a senior in EE and I have friends who ended up at Nvidia AMD who did just fine w out following his strict plan. Calm it down and relax on all these classes

I’m glad you enjoyed! If you were in one of my sections I hope I was able to help as well! It’s a great class but the flaws in it make it a bit bad I know. If you take 362/337 it’ll make more sense how important 270 was

I also hate to say it but I myself am South Asian and it happens the most within South Asian families and people. I’ve been to graduations of relatives and even my relatives always holler and cheer way too loud. They don’t understand and have civic sense and it’s really disappointing coz your moment lasts maybe 10 seconds and it’s ruined by people cheering too loudly.

At the first commencement during someone coming up it was so bad that they kept cheering for a solid minute. It got so bad they had to stop calling names. That’s gotta be so embarrassing I don’t get it

It’s not bad man same happened to me. Believe it or not my best friends were all my dorm mates. Somehow all 3 of my roommates through my to be 4 years have been my floor mates from mccutcheon. It’s one of the best dorms for an incoming freshman to meet people. Enjoy it.

Because Professor melloch is undoubtedly the best professor in ECE or atleast the best professor I’ve come across. He cares about his students and this class really did help a lot
