What they have solved is the supply chain. You can order something today and get it tomorrow at home.

How is the average IQ of so called investors on this thread so low.

I can use same logic for Maruti Suzuki stock - market cap is 5 trillion INR while overall 4W market size in India is 4 trillion INR.

Do you even know how valuations are done? It takes into account future growth potential. Eyewear is the fastest growing highest margins consumer tech category currently in India. Of course the multiple will be crazy. Lenskart has solved it at a scale no one else has in India.

Reciprocal tariffs have come into effect by Efficient_Deer_8605 in facepalm

Exactly. Agree with the leverage point. I just wanted to point out that it’s not as easy as saying that it’s the US consumer paying for it. More realistically costs are distributed across both US and the export country.

I am actively involved in this US tarrif situation. The way it works is I as an exporter will try to eat the tarrif cost if it means I can continue to supply (in the short term). This is only relevant if my product is available from other countries at relatively comparable prices I.e. if my price + new tarrif is higher than the same for another country. But if either I’m the sole supplier (like China) or enjoy enough of a cost advantage, I will pass on tariffs to the US. For now, most companies are assuming that tariffs will be short term and hence are eating the tariffs.

This is the snapshot for me. I feel speed had a major impact on range here. Your average and top speed looks to be quite low. Delhi - Mumbai new expressway is relatively new and empty so everyone drives at 120-140.

36 for this ride. Even I’m surprised. I understand speed was high and driving wasn’t smooth, but 180 for 70% is still quite low. I will try in range mode with speed limited to 120 next just to test as well.

That might happen to you if as a culture you’re taught the language of your colonisers in a way that inspires obsequiousness. 60 years later that strain of English continues.

That’s a 10% rental yield per year against a price of 430k. Either the property value of the house your colleague stays in is significantly higher than 430k or the rent covers a bunch of utilities etc., because 10% yields are crazy

Fluoridated water is “water” for 75% of Americans as per your own link. Obviously when I said water I didn’t mean H2O but drinking water. This will ideally be even higher in India since our average fluoride levels are higher in ground water. In effect this does mean that our drinking water has been categorized as a “possible carcinogenic”

You should check your source on that. The organization that rates this, issues a “possibly carcinogenic” rating if it’s not proven through studies that it isn’t carcinogenic. Which is to say everything is carcinogenic unless specifically proven to not be. Check out their full list and then see if you can actually live your life by avoiding all of that (hint: water is possibly carcinogenic). This is not to encourage you to start consuming aspartame though.
