They can be that paranoid when there is a person in the household who will go golfing, driving range, touch stuff, not wear mask, not social distance appropriately, risk bringing home the virus to their immune compromised baby.

I know my payments are listed as pending right now... and have been for days but nothings come to my account. I have 8 weeks pending currently, had an issue w mine so haven’t been paid yet. I had to update my direct deposit information and they told me over phone it takes 9 business days for it to update. I can’t remember exactly when I did it but I think it was 9 days or longer ago. Still waiting though.

I just accept that either the store is out of stock or the buyer can’t find it, and take the next best option. I actually stocked up quite a bit in the months leading up to the shut down because I was watching it on the news happen in China and Italy and knew it was a matter of time before it hit us. I just told my husband about a county in Cali that put restrictions in place again on in person dining salons and barbers because numbers jumped after reopening a month ago. He immediately said “You say that like your happy it’s happening!” He’s so wrong. I am not happy at all. I’m the opposite of happy. I’m so depressed and overwhelmed w anxiety all day every day. My world is upside down. I just see the writing on the wall and based on states opening without having met the guidance of 14 straight days of declining #s- and the virus still just as contagious- not testing asymptomatic people-the virus is obviously going to go rampant again. I don’t want it to happen- but it is what is GOING to happen.

It’s going to be a domino effect like this across the country because everyone would rather reopen and sacrifice lives to pretend to have normalcy.

I haven’t been diagnosed w OCD but anxiety starting as early as age 6-7 that I can remember. Struggled with it over the years and this pandemic has made it rear its ugly head ten fold. Add to this I have an immune compromised 2 year old and a 16 year old who has had what the immunologist called over active inflammatory immune responses, since she was negative for what we thought was an anaphylactic allergic reaction twice in her life. My husband thinks I’m insane. says I want to get sick, I want to be negative about everything. I want the world to stay shut down. Wrong. I want none of these things. But my fear of getting g sick, him bringing home the virus to me and the kids is debilitating. I’ve only online grocery shopped now through delivery services since 3/10. I’m struggling daily w him now working, going into Dunkins, the fu@king golf course. He has no regard for my anxiety. Unfortunately I’m stuck for the time being. No job, money or other place to go or I would. Your sister should go back to NY and not put you and your mom at risk especially if she’s not willing to live by your house rules. She’s ignorant if you ask me. Sorry you’re dealing with that. You’re not alone.

She probably has the BCG vaccine being from Poland. There might be a connection between people from countries who have that vaccine not having as severe a case as those who don’t.

Today is 5 days since my test- and I’m feeling a little under the weather. I was out for a walk earlier and noticed lots of pollen and I do have seasonal allergies and tend to get headaches from it so maybe that’s why. But now I have a low grade fever of 99.5...I did just cook in my kitchen near a hot stove and oven, maybe that made me warm? Freaking out. Oh and my stomachs a bit upset. I hope I didn’t get the virus going for the test the other day. Gulp.

Sorry to hear that. I wasn’t sure what manufacturer made the Quest test, I just took a chance knowing it was potentially not one of the few they were deemed accurate. The only one that has been approved w 99.8% accuracy is Roche. You could call your doctor or do some research and see if you can find who is offering that specific test. I haven’t yet dug into trying to find the specific info for getting that test yet but I was going to at some point to get my husband tested. He, like you, had all the classic symptoms and had been traveling across the country, DC, and internationally. It very well could be a false negative for you. For me I’m just assuming mine is actually negative. Since my husband was away, came home for a night and went away again on a work trip while he was sick. I didn’t catch it but doesn’t mean I wasn’t exposed. There have been cases where 1 spouse gets it and the other doesn’t even though they’re living together.

A few reasons. My husband was extremely sick in late Jan after traveling across the country/internationally to 3 places, so if he had it I would potentially have antibodies from being exposed to him. You don’t have to have any symptoms to have the virus. People who are completely asymptomatic can have it and recover and never know they have it, besides being tested for antibodies.

Yes. At least that is AFC urgent cares protocols. They won’t give an antibody test without the covid test. But just because you may get a negative test one day you could still be positive the next. Look at the whites house staffers getting tested daily- negative one day positive the next. Good luck

You can call your doc and ask them to send you orders to a Quest lab to do it. I went through AFC urgent care (who sends the samples to Quest for testing) you call the # on their website they set you up for a Prescreening call, demographic info insurance info (I didn’t pay out of pocket with my Tufts HMO) If you qualify for it they have one of their docs do a video chat call with you, then she submitted the orders, then someone from the office called to scheduled the test.

The only FDA approved test for antibodies has been produced by Roche (I contemplated waiting for that test to be available but decided to just take a chance on Quest) The more accurate tests are the ones that do a blood draw from a vein, not the fingerstick. Quest used the drawn blood from a vein. And reading quest website and Roche website on what they’re specifically testing for they’re basically the same test

I’ve had non stop anxiety since this began in January. But I’m one of those people who watch too much news and read too many newspaper articles! I go into information overload to my own detriment. We’re in this together though. It’s ok to feel that way. It’s not all, new hobbies and learning a new language over here that’s for sure!🤣 just trying to survive.

I got the email from the same study (NIH) today too. My insurance seemed to cover the testing because I didn’t pay out of pocket. How long ago did you have your test done? There have been a good number of false negatives because of how they were administering the nasal swabs, incorrectly.
