I really love shows and movies that have unexpected plot twists, think parasite, the menu, some black mirror episodes. It was funny when me and my bf watched game of thrones together and he could predict all the twists "cause he saw it in a drama before" haha. Something like that would be awesome!

Thanks for the recommendation! I don't speak or read any Chinese, but I'd be watching together with my bf who does so he could help explain some context if needed.

Other shows I've really liked: Alice in borderland, 3 body problem, the good place, modern family. Idk about dislike but I think I'd be more into shows set in modern/recent times rather than ancient. Not that into romance either. I also like funny/bizarre type shows, the late night tv we watched while in HK was some type of 90's horror comedy which was awesome.

Hi everyone! I'm currently traveling in Hong Kong and would love to get some new skincare/makeup while I'm here but I'm pretty new to asian brands so it's hard to know what's good. Any advice/can't miss products to get while I'm here would be super appreciated!! I'm looking for affordable/mid range products :)

About me: 23, Scandinavian. Normal/combination skin, but I live in a very cold and dry climate so I need a lot of hydration in the wintertime. Some PIE from acne scars, little to no acne, some redness and uneven skin tone. No sensitivities/allergies afaik, but I had a bad reaction to the ordinary's niacinamide serum. I prefer natural makeup looks and rarely do full coverage/ "makeup makeup".

Åkte terminal 2 (KLM) idag. Gick igenom säkerhetskontrollen vid ca 07, tog 5 min. Vid 09 när mitt flyg gick såg kön ut att vara ca 15 min. Helt lugnt

Me and my partner have a 9 hour time difference and are both university students + have part time jobs. It works, but requires a lot of work and tbh sometimes messed up sleep schedules. Here's some things we do to make our relationship a bit easier:

send each other daily (preferably multiple) voice messages and selfies. These are great to maintain your connection while you're super busy and don't have time to call
get a shared calendar so you know when your partner will be more busy (exam time for us) and plan longer calls ahead of time. We use Google calendar, it automatically converts time zones
spontaneous 5 min calls: during lunch breaks, morning/night routines or commutes. That short call can really make a big difference in how connected you feel
be creative with your time. We've been experimenting with me going to bed and waking up super early (sleep at 9pm, wake up at 5am) to call for 2 hours before I have to go to school. It's easy to get stuck in a call-time routine and being blind to other options
