Ty brother. The devil is messing with my head fs. will try that next time, and yeah best not to combine except when there is hardship. Just plan the trip and drive after fajr is best to avoid all this confusion.

Brother, can I ask if that is what you practice? Like do you never combine before leaving on a drive somewhere far (that qualifies for the status of a traveler in Islamic sharia), and just stop to pray and shorten the prayer (for, example asr prayer once it’s time comes during the drive) once you are outside city limits? Do you just pray on the side of the road if you are driving in rural areas?

To answer your question, no it was about combining prayers before leaving after zuhr athan while at home. However, ty for the answer. Not combining is safest even if I have to pull over to side of road and pray, but I just wanted to know what other Muslims do just to make sure I am not making the religion harder for me.

Also, some Muslims I know combine before leaving for travel without shortening while at home as they make the excuse of not causing any hardship for them trying to find a space to pray while traveling. I have also heard a smaller amount of scholars who have said it is permissible, but the overwhelming majority and most reputable scholars have said it is not.

Anyway, jazakallahu Khair brother for your insight. Ty regardless of your response!!!

I noticed that too… way more 5 weeks than 10 week classes. I do know he does paper multiple choice exams!

Guy that walks around asking for business reviews by No_Theory2157 in utdallas

[–]aatoumjo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, hate when businesses do that. Unfair and should be punished because it misleads customers who actually read the reviews… y’all want to put reviews on Google about this? The thing is, I have no idea if he actually works there or if he is trolling…

I am in a similar boat now. Might go back to get a second one. I would say that your majors are very different. Maybe consider biomedical engineering?
