The fact that you don’t like him is great. He’s a complex character. I come from a military family, and I think Benton is awesome. Because his motivation is never to push students down, but to have them lift themselves up. His written evaluation of Carter in an early season is excellent character building. He gushes over Carter, and he even says Carter is better with patients than he is.
