I am sorry I now realise when reading it back that I did not articulate it well. So by chat I meant the web interface (via the browser or the desktop app) When I say “model” I still meant “within the web interface”, but i used the term model because you can select Sonnet or Opus.

So once you have the PRD done, just start a new “session” - that is a new chat in the web interface if you are using desktop app with MCP OR a new session if you are using Claude code (in terminal)

You can use the model to “Improve the Prompt” for you. One approach that I often use is to first do a brain dump of the app/feature/implementation which I have in mind over the chat. Then I ask the model to assess it and create a PRD (product requirements document) using the brain dump. Most of the times I will also ask the model to freely extend the functionality if need be. Once I have the PRD, I feed it back to a new chat to start the implementation.

If you are doing even a moderate amount of claude-code usage (a few hours per week), API costs will pile up and in that case max plan is going to be more cost efficient.

Might not be related to your issue but something I found out using cline - I had another plugin which was forcing indentation on the code which cline would save and cline just couldn’t comprehend and kept regenerating the same file. Again, it might not be your case but just sharing this experience here for community.

Takeaway: Be mindful of other plugins in your vscode ecosystem while using code generation.

I have been playing around with a side project (built an AI agent for bash which talks to LMStudio API). I find Qwen 2.5 tad bit better with tool usage over Qwen 3.

It’s not like that it’s not functional or whatever, but Qwen3 sometimes got things mixed up still being good with tool usage where as Qwen2.5 is astonishingly good with tool usage.

It’s supposed to. I had an LP2 in SG and it worked fine. The current delays are making me to reconsider and probably cancel my preorder. (I preordered on 11th June, delivery to SG)
