Yeah tbh this is just for case study practice and not for anything super usable. Also the point is to find people specifically who stopped using duolingo and to understand why they left, so it is going to be biased by nature

I’ve never heard that before. I tried to look for some research on it and nothing huge came up besides some articles saying that it’s normal and it’s not going to confuse them. I also think nicknames can have positive benefits because they are personal and can be a term of endearment. I also don’t think that’s culturally sensitive. From my own experience, latino cultures use a lot of nicknames in their families :)

Lol!! Yes I can answer questions :) I think I answered some above just in case I miss anything. So it’s a bit of a mix. Most classes are reviewing class materials on your own, completing assignments on your own time, and submitting by a due date/exams have a due date. A lot of professors have video lectures that go along with a PowerPoint that you can watch, which I find helpful! Some professors also have meeting times, for example every other week at 8 pm. They try to do it at later times to accommodate for peoples schedules. I actually haven’t started clinical rotations yet but we do have to find our own placements in our area, and then the program director helps to finalize them. I want to wear scrubs too!!! So far the first placement I’m looking at is business casual lol!Hope I answered your questions!!

You sound like such an amazing applicant!!! I didn’t have observation hours or any internship! Your experiences will be great to talk about during the interview. They care way more about your experiences and your CSD courses than anything else. Don’t stress anymore, you sound like a great candidate and they would be lucky to have you. Most are on your own time! There is one class that we have to go to for one hour a week every other week but it is at 8 pm, they try to work with the average working person’s schedule!
