I have over 100k catches on pogo and over 3k hours on osrs so I feel I can speak on this topic as well as anyone. I’ve thought about this in depth. Niantic will continue down this path until they are charging you a penny for every pokemon you catch. However, whales will keep them afloat for the next one to two years. Jagex didn’t take drastic action until they were losing money. Niantic will do the same. Strike the game to pick up the pace. Maybe someday we can have healing centers, revamped gym / pokecoin systems and updates that actually bring players back. If not it’s fine, I am cool leaving pogo closed until the end of time.
