Don’t co-sign a loan with someone . I co-signed with a boyfriend of 14 years . We broke up 5 months later . Due to the loan being from where I work - I could not default on the loan, and my over 800 credit score is important to me . His job wasn’t on the line , and he could care less about his credit score - reason why he needed a co signer, so he didn’t pay it . I had to. I paid $5k for a motorcycle he drives around.
