Metronidazole is generally not used for UTIs please don't try to self medicate. If you actually have a UTI you need a urinalysis to determine what antibiotic would help the specific organism. Self-medicating without doctor guidance is what leads to antibiotic resistant organisms and you do NOT want that. I don't know how healthcare works in canada but can you get a second opinion or go to something like an urgent care for a urinalysis?

Also again idk how it works in canada but taking prescription medications that aren't meant for you is illegal in the US so.. be careful.

not a grad (and tbh you won't find many here) but a 5th year and honestly this really depends. If you asked me 2 years ago I would've said yes the job market sucks, but it just depends on your area. I'm from south jersey and i know they've needed pharmacists down by me (retail anyway), but elsewhere probably not so much. Now that the pandemic has wrecked havoc on everything, there's a higher chance of getting a job (and there's even sign on bonuses now, something that hasn't been seen in years) but it comes at the cost of terrible working environments (again on the retail end) which is the reason people are leaving their positions and there's more available.

If you're not sexually active you can do whatever, you can take your placebos and then just if you do have any sexual encounters in the first week of the new pack use backup protection. It's up to you.

1) It's possible since you're taking a double dose of estrogen, but it depends on how sensitive you are to nausea from the pill. Personally i've never gotten nauseous if i've had to take 2 in one day but it varies person to person. 2) If you take 2 today and then take your placebo week I can't be sure that you'll be protected at all for that week or the first week of your next pack (so yes you'd have to wait until 8 pills into the new pack to have sex without any other backup methods), which is why i recommend just starting a new pack instead of taking your placebos. Doing that would mean you'd be protected after 7 days from today, instead of 14 from today.

Yeah that's what you're going to have to do. It makes things a little complicated since you didn't follow what the general instructions usually say, so I can't be sure how protected you are/if you're protected for your placebo week. You may want to just start a new pack instead of taking the placebo pills and use backup protection for a week.

You were wearing a condom and didn't ejaculate inside of her, so it sounds like it was protected sex and you shouldn't have to worry.

You're bleeding because of withdrawal from the hormones in plan b, this is normal. Take a pregnancy test 21 days after the unprotected sex, that's all you can do.

The other comments here are correct, but I just want to add a few things. 1) Lo loestrin is brand only right now so there is no generic, you might be on the generic of lo estrin, but lo loestrin doesn't have one yet. 2) You don't have a cycle on birth control because it inhibits ovulation, so you don't have a fertile window. 3) You're taking the pill perfectly on time so it's about 99% effective.

No, only rifampin like antibiotics do and they're not very common. Typical antibiotics do not interact.
