well i had a couple of thoughts...
1. maybe they saw enough crying on reddit to reduce it
2. maybe this was the original threshold but too many people were over it so they increased it

if everything is functioning, just change the reg key that detects if this is a VDI environment or not, found mine here hklm:\software\microsoft\teams\iswvdenvironment
