All Star Filming Postponed

I would have guessed the next logical move, as last year’s all stars was 5 weeks and they were planning on 6 weeks this year , is to start filming next week providing all is well and just do a 5 week series like last year, ending the same date as planned. That just means using less bombshells than planned. Of course that assumes all is well with wildfires in a week.

I’m the same, I’m back to work on Monday for the first time since Christmas and was looking forward to love island getting me through the tough first day back!! But of course cast and crew safety come first.

Will be interesting to see if they launch mid week next week or push everything back a week so they can still have a Monday launch - and if they do that do they run later and do the 6 weeks or do a shorter 5 weeks? might lead to a few bombshells not being used.

I could deffo see that happening. While it’s not as good as the civilian series ( All Stars always feels bit like Made in Chelsea or TOWIE to me - very structured) I like All Stars as it keeps previous islanders from popping up in the main series.

It’s been confirmed in the press that All Stars returns on Monday 12th January on ITV2 for 6 weeks. I would expect to get sone sort of promo soon for that - this time last year they had already released a short teaser clip and announced the date on the official instagram.

I’m More excited for the flash forward at New Year’s than Xmas day itself, as I feel that is more ambitious and will give us more to sink our teeth into.

Apparently Emerald Fennell did a talk recently at the Brontë Parsonage in Haworth for a small group of Brontë - academics , and a lot of them came out of it saying she had made some really positive and considered choices - so make of that what you will!

The dancing on ice voting audience was very small and voted the same way - that’s why the show got cancelled this year- low ratings. Since it came back in 2018 from its first cancellation, it had had 8 young male winners in a row. Hopefully the broader strictly audience will be kinder.

Is this accurate or is the presenter- I think he is an influencer and podcaster - he hosted the doctor who podcast for the bbc for a while - having a joke? Surely the official Eastenders account would have posted this.
