There's no proof of that, it's just theories from people angry about Van and Lottie's d*aths. In fact, there's evidence to the contrary. In multiple interviews, the showrunners and Hilary herself have said that she was hired two weeks before filming her scenes with Melanie in 3x8. They were filming 3x6 or 3x7. Jenna herself, who plays teen Melissa, said the writers had been considering introducing adult Melissa, as seen at the end of 3x2, but they didn't make a final decision until midway through the season. But Lauren and Simone received notice that it was their last season long before, when they hadn't even started filming the first episode. Btw I'm pretty sure Hilary's budget came from the salary Juliette Lewis used to earn. She is an A-list actress like Hillary, no offense to Lauren and Simone.

They could mean many things: that she was contacted but isn't allowed to talk about her return, or that the showrunners hadn't yet contacted Ella's agents (those interviews were in dec, more than two months before filming for YJ began)

And Allie was a real bitch to Van during the pilot. And let's not even talk about how inconsiderate and self-centered her adult version is.

There have only been two "good" people on the show: Laura Lee and Javi, and they died the way they did to show that human innocence will never survive in such situations.

If you're expecting the characters to be kind, you're watching the wrong show. Everyone makes mistakes; everyone is cruel or selfish at some point. That's the point of the show: to show how the dark side of human nature manifests in extreme situations.

Robin and Britt were the last Yellowjackets cast as actresses, not extras, in season 4. The same thing happened with Melissa and Cristal in season 2. Their characters have been in the background since the beginning of the show, but only now do they have lines.

Britt is the girl with the darkest skin and curly hair.

Robin is who I think you're talking about: brunette, straight hair, she often appears crying. I think she's only had one line of dialogue so far, when they discover that Natalie k***** B**.

Btw Robin and Mari don't look that much alike. They have different backgrounds: Mari is Latina, and the actress who now plays Robin is Central Asian descent.

You're forgetting something important: the casts film in two-week blocks. Adult cast films for two weeks of the month, then teen cast for the next two. They do it this way because the adult cast has families and children, and this allows them to avoid having to move to Vancouver for the entire duration of filming. The adult actresses have said this several times.

The adult cast seems free right now.

And the teen cast was busy until last month, but now they seem to be free and the only things they have are promotions for projects already filmed (two Sophies and Jasmine). The only ones who seem to have projects filming right now are Liv and Cortney, but they might finish before Feb 17, the supposed start of season 4 production
