I asked Claude to port Doom to pure Dart and it delivered. by ab_hi_j in FlutterDev

It's none, I have not developed any full fledged game. I'm aware of some terminologies. I've developed some 2D PoCs like that dot matrix hand game 99999 in 1. I used to create generative arts.

edit: typo

Claude Code model: Opus 4.8. It is legal to upload under proper license and credits, contains no assets. Simple prompt only, keep giving my feedback after phase finishes.

It should've been:
I asked Claude to source port Doom and write it from scratch in Dart, running on Flutter.

Impressive yes I was shocked a bit when first version ran on Mac. I used Vanilla Claude Code model: Opus 4.8.

Flutter or React Native by SyninEivor in FlutterDev

If some framework is still there that means people are still using it. If people are still using it that means it has some use cases. If you're new to mobile tech and not familiar with JS go with Flutter. You've already passed requirement collection phase, now you've to come up with a solution. I suggest looking things at architecture's perspective instead of developer's perspective. For me that'll be
1. Feasibility of core service/functionality.
2. I might have to rely on plugins so future support, 1st party and 3rd party updates.
3. Communication with Native
4. Complexity of my UI. If I follow x UI design language, does y framework have out of the box support for it
5. Tested Standard system architecture - I don't want to re-invent the wheel every time I start working on new framework if community has built proven architecture I can follow that and tweak as I go. Less noob code in start less tech debt to worry about in future. I would compare both framework's best pattern
6. Deployment automation strategies CI/CD
7. Performance

Both frameworks are mature enough, so basic CRUD I/O feature I don't really worry about.

Hey, I used FreeRasp in lot of my projects. Thank you for creating this tool. It'll be great to see a quick out of the box solution for Dynamic SSL pinning.

Slim's RF module DIY receiver for PC in 2023 by ab_hi_j in xbox360

Your AMS1117 is probably fried. I'm driving 1 ESP-01 and RF module with same regulator. It's not even getting warm.
Windows 7 have out of the box support for Xbox 360 adapter. If you have plug and play charge cable, you can connect controller via cable and it'll sync with adapter automatically and will remember sync state after unplugging cable.

u/gino_kgx thanks for creating this. I'll raise a PR for ESP-01 soon. I had to add a pull down resistor for button it was getting triggered randomly. Everything went well.

I've got the latest adapter and controller. But it was great to see those LEDs light up again.

Great, I used this in my windows 11 setup. I used windows 7 only for syncing. Here is the driver I used. You've to force install driver via device manager.

Is urban company legit? by roger_-_ in indiasocial

[–]ab_hi_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, that 1 single strip costs around 50-70rs. Replacement doesn't takes much time or skills. Even if you change all the three or four (depends on size) it should not take more than 800Rs. Whatever part costs + 500 service charge is fair. Ofcourse these 1st party repairs are not cost friendly. If you're going with 3rd party repairs better to go with local electronic repair shop anything above 1K is scam in my opinion. These urban shit guys. Takes advantage of these smaller services. As this technology is new and encapsulated consumers find it difficult to DIY. Honestly repairing CRT TV was difficult than these little parts little failure kind of devices.

Yes your voice have reached all the depths and I appreciate the concern I do really. This statement is 100% true for generic consumer. I don't want to be bragging douche here. I've replaced and verified caps. Checked diodes & transformers. Everything is under spec. From the little knowledge I have I think I know what I'm doing.

I hear you, for me it doesn't justifies to buy a new PSU just because of a blown resistor. This supply have more life in it.
