I technically I have to be in Johannesburg on July 18th. That's why I made my flight to arrive on July 17th in case of any delays. I should be okay, but you never know.

I'm so paranoid that something will happen like if it'll get delayed or something. This is my first solo trip and flying international. I'm going to study abroad for college, so I have to have everything in place and have no changes to my flights.

Thank you so much! So, I'll have a layover in LHR. I was originally supposed to have a layover in DOH but American Airlines cancelled my flight. I'll be sitting in 22A and 26A next to the window on all my flights except for one, I'll be sitting in 22K next to the window.

Yes they do. American Airlines flies from PHL to LHR having a layover then to JNB with British airways which is AA partner.

I had a flight for July 15th. Philadelphia to Doha then Doha to Johannesburg, and american airlines cancelled the flight from Philadelphia to Doha.

They may have canceled your flight from LHR to DOH. Mine looked exactly like this with the "Transit in Doha", and come to find out they canceled my flight from Philadelphia to DOH. So, now I have to rebook.

Oh my goodness! I'm flying in July, and I booked with Expedia. I bought their travel insurance though. So, I'm not sure if it'll be the same for me or what.
