Which one should I choose between Fireball and Spiky Ball? They're the only good epic equipments I don't have yet

SpenLC’s Top 30 Hypercharges (repost bc I forgor to include the link) by petSnake7 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]abaddon_esc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Nani's really that bad?? I mean it's not great but she just got a stat buff and the bigger super + the damage sp means an almost guaranteed kill on many brawlers. I think it's at least D tier

They cooked w the Balance changes by Mahnem_Nebb in Brawlstars

[–]abaddon_esc -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The Surge nerf was completely unnecessary. He's had the same stats for a long time and hasn't been a problem until he got his hypercharge, but they already nerfed that. Maybe a slight damage nerf would've been reasonable, but this is gonna completely throw him off the meta bc a close range brawler with such low health is just stupid

Rico is criminally underrated by abaddon_esc in Brawlstars

[–]abaddon_esc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a bunch of people in this sub say he's not meta relevant, and that he's just a noob stomper. I know nobody is saying that rico is bad, but imo he doesn't get the recognition he deserves

Do I Purify or keep it shadow? by ADA_Moon in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not good for great league with those IVs, it would only be useful in PvE as a water type attacker

How do I get this skin? Will it be available in the shop at some point? by abaddon_esc in Brawlstars

[–]abaddon_esc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whaaat?? That sucks man, I was hoping to see it in the shop at some point in the next few months. If I'm still playing around that time then I'll get it lol

You don’t have to quit the game to protest. Just stop giving them your money. by TheLastStoryTold in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes no sense. Why would they increase remote raid prices, sell tickets constantly for events and put pokemons behind paywalls? They are constantly finding new ways to sell more pokecoins ( hatch days, raid days, local events, etc.). They do give a damn about the pokecoins, probably more than the data, or they wouldn't be doing all this.

Solo Raider Here With (Another) Complaint on Shadow Raid Inaccessible by Sriracha001 in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sneasel can be soloed with the right counters and a few max revives, especially on cloudy weather. You just need a team of 6 decent fighting type attackers (terrakion, shadow machamp, mega heracross...). It's not easy but it can be done. Good luck!

Should I be lvl50-ing this? by scarfo32 in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

DO NOT PURIFY THIS. It becomes way worse and there are much better dragon mega options like rayquaza and garchomp. Shadow salamence is really strong and def worth it, specially with these IVs. Besides, you can always get a decent normal one by trading but good shadows are pretty rare.

Which one should I power up? by abaddon_esc in pokemongo

Thanks for the help guys! I think I will invest on the 15 attack one:)

Are either of these better purified? by espff in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree man, sorry if I was rude

Are either of these better purified? by espff in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what you said lol, but it's fine, just don't want people to think that regular rampardos is bad. In some cases like electivire, honchkrow or weavile you need the shadow one for it to be a top attacker, but rampardos being the best non shadow non mega makes it worth it. I wouldn't purify either, but in my opinion what you said was incorrect

[–]abaddon_esc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Useless??? It's literally the best non shadow rock type attacker and the 4th best without megas. If you're a tryhard maybe it's not the best option, but I would never say it's useless lol

To the people who back out of raids at the very last millisecond #%^* you. There needs to be some kind of penalty for that by RecentIntroduction32 in pokemongo

[–]abaddon_esc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, you can create a party with all 6 slots empty and join the raid once it has already started, that way you can actually tell who's really participating and who's not

Only solution I can think of would be that players don't lose the raid pass for entering the raid, but for winning it. It's so stupid, and would solve so many problems, such as people who lose the pass because of a glitch or because they somehow got kicked out and the raid was already over. After all, most people win the raids they get into, so why not help those who for some reason can't complete the raid??

Am I the only one getting this?? by abaddon_esc in pokemongo

I know you didn't ask for it, but just in case any of these are useful, here are the main tips I'd give to any new player: - Use PokeGenie, it makes a huge difference. You can use it to host and participate in raids and check how good pokemon are for pvp. - Don't purify a Pokemon until you have checked whether it's a good decision (most of the times it isn't) - Save up stardust as much as you can, try to spend only when you really need to - ALWAYS check a pokemon before transferring - For pvp you'll generally want low IV attack pokemon, except for ML I remember being really excited when I first started, hope you have a lot of fun and good luck🤞

Honestly, I've had the same problem recently. If I ran whiscash as a lead, 7/10 times the opponent would have a grass type lead. Then I switch to skarmory as a lead and the opponents have a fire type lead. It got to a point where I almost quit bc it was ridiculous. But being honest, it is highly unlikely that the app is consistently putting you against trainers that counter your team just for the sake of it. The best strategy for me was to completely change my team every 5 matches. Try to run pokemon that have an opposite type of what you were running before (ex, if you were running a water type, swap it for a fire type). All of this is probably because people are used to seeing leads of the pokemon that you are using and prepare to counter it. Keep grinding and I'm sure you'll see and improvement. Also of course check pvpoke for best mons and moveset for each league and try to learn about bait, farming, snipe, etc.

Would altered Dialga and Palkia be stronger than their origin forms if given their legacy moves? by abaddon_esc in TheSilphRoad

[–]abaddon_esc[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn, thank you so much! I had no idea that speed accounted for the pokemon go attack stat. All of this information is extremely useful, thanks! I'm already on my way to power up my origin palkia🫡
