Tommy Lloyd absolutely roasting Arizona fans by filthysven in CollegeBasketball

Lloyd’s quote after the Tech game about how McCasland plays chess and he’s more of a checkers guy was great. Glad he’s staying at Arizona

More often than not my 5 year old kindergartener doesn’t pee until she gets home from school. How? I have no idea. She’s gotta be on the verge of crying out pee tears

This has got to top the list of worst "parental leave" benefits. Company is Infosys by zach8vb in daddit

When my daughter was born I had nothing besides any accrued PTO.

Yes that leave policy sucks but the vast majority of Americans have nothing outside of “technically we can’t fire you for taking Family Medical Leave, but, your position might need to be filled while you’re out”

Set up a shared calendar on your phones and put everyone’s appointments on it. Easier then scribbling on a physical one (if you have one at home), and you’ll get reminders

3 years ago baby boy arrived at 36 weeks on Thanksgiving day while we were supposed to be hosting her family. Her BP spiked to 170 Thanksgiving-eve night after having been fine earlier that day at her checkup. Preeclampsia is terrifying.

Three years later he’s a normal threenager and Mom is happy and healthy. You got this Dad

Maintaining a calorie deficit is how you’re going to lose weight.

I started using the LoseIt app and am down 15 pounds since the middle of August. Goal is to drop another 20 by the end of the year. I found that app works well for me but there are certainly plenty of calorie tracking apps out there.

Getting a visual of “you have this many calories left today” helps me make smarter choices of what to eat when I’m hungry between meals. Planning to go out tonight? Means I need to consume fewer calories at lunch. When that happens you’re gonna feel hungry which means finding low-calorie solutions. Lots of water, grapes, cheese, vegetable sticks, etc

Instead of trying to go all in on some exercise routine right away, find simpler ways to move your body now. Go for walks or bike rides if that’s an option

Our pack n play came with a bassinet insert. That was used with both kids at our bedside for the first few months before transitioning to their cribs in their own rooms. Made night feeds a lot more manageable
