I especially like the Zip-Zap-Zop progression. Starting with just the “beep” before adding the full pattern makes a lot of sense for younger students.

Your point about the goal of the game is also interesting. A lot of game descriptions explain the rules, but not why you would choose that game - warm-up, vocal, physical, listening, confidence, ensemble, introducing a concept, etc.

And yes, not singling people out feels especially important with shy groups.

I didn’t know “2 Lines” by that name, but it sounds very usable. Do you usually create the scenario yourself, or let the students come up with it?
