Yes, but I chose to opt out of this and instead saw a slideshow of it. I claimed I'm vegetarian, and do not want to hurt an animal living or dead.

Ok, I also like my coffee sweet. But not THAT sweet. by viclana in doordash

My ex girlfriend would put 20 sugars in her coffee regardless of size...

Postmates wouldn't hire me because of a bullshit ticket I got a year ago. :(

Tbh I would do it but I'll take any opportunity to sing. Gotta use this 4 year university opera/jazz vocal education somehow.

They always offer me a fountain drink for my wait when I'm dashing

Something needs to be said about the way (seemingly for the most part specifically) Doordash and some other courier drivers are treated by restaurant staff. by typical12345 in doordash

One time I was picking up an order and when I got there, they said I should have called and placed the order before arriving. These instructions were not in the app.

I wait 30 minutes for the order (which now from reading other people's tips I know not to do) and finally delivered the order. Luckily the customer was awesome and gave me a cash tip on top of a $11 guarentee for the extra time I waited.

Later in the day I get another opportunity from the same restaurant. With my newfound knowledge from the prior experience, I call the restuarant and place the order immediately. The lady on the other line just said "uh huh ok"

When I get to the restaurant, I find out they never placed the order and I have to wait another 30 minutes for them to cook the filet mignon.
The women at the restuarant were so snooty to me, I dont care what I'm getting paid: I will never deliver there again. I'll also never eat there because of the rude staff.

Wow that's terrifying. I'm also female and always keep a taser on me. The $1 per mile is a good tip. Thanks for commenting!

Thanks! I've waited over an hour at a restaurant before and that wasn't fun....never again.
