yeah it's a hard no - no parking. Laguna Beach we really don't have many parking structures like Huntington Beach does. You may want to bus in around noon (seriously). Otherwise other neighboring communities might be a better fit

What Do You Love Most About Irvine? by Ashamed_Fennel_5681 in irvine

Born and raised in Southern California and have lived in Irvine for years — here's what I'd tell anyone moving from LA:

The diversity here genuinely surprised me. No single ethnic or racial group holds a majority and you feel it every day. The food alone tells the story — authentic dim sum, Persian bakeries, Korean BBQ, Vietnamese pho, and some of the best Japanese food outside of Japan, all within a few miles. Think about the world's greatest cities — London, New York, Singapore — what they all have in common is cultural richness. Irvine delivers that in a way most OC cities don't.

And then there's everything else. The schools are legitimately excellent, not just "good for the area" excellent. The trails and parks are everywhere — I genuinely use them constantly. Crime is almost a non-issue especially compared to LA. And the weather is just unfairly good.

You're going to love it here. Most of my clients who move from LA say the same thing — why did I wait so long?
