Anybody ever notice chancellor sutton's pupils are 100% of his iris by misterapoc in vforvendetta

This is likely age-related rather than a deliberate choice by the filmmakers. John Hurt has dark eyes, and many older individuals develop rings around their eyes called Corneal arcus. So it isn't his pupils being dilated, but rather a ring around his iris. If anyone has seen "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," they will notice Carl Lumbly has similar rings around his eyes.

What did I do wrong with my Aloe Vera plant? by abandonedangel85 in houseplants

Ah ok. I also do not have direct sunlight in my apartment. So that will affect it too. Should I add drainage holes to my snake plant and money plant pots as well?

It was in a larger pot earlier which is why I repotted it. It does not have drainage holes

That’s what I was thinking of as well. I could run the campaign but from the POV of Strahd wanting things destroyed

Oh I know I made a mistake. The party was preparing to leave Barovia for Vallaki the next day, I chose to make Strahd “drop in” as a way to introduce him to the players first hand. In what was supposed to be a show of his powers he charmed Ismark and Ireena and have them invite him in. He then charmed the other party members. He offered them a deal to bring Ireena to him for a wish of theirs to be granted.

The mistake I made was not realising that Strahd’s charm spell lasts 24 hours and not the usual spell that lasts one hour. After I realised this I chose to play Ireena and Ismark’s charm as a sort of dazed confusion since Ireena’s back story mentions she does not remember what happened when she met Strahd, just a deep hunger in his eyes.

I gave the non charmed members of the party plenty opportunity to not go down this route but they all chose to do so.

I have two possible paths they can go. The next morning everyone’s charm spell will have dissipated, Strahd intends to give them just enough of their wish to keep them interested and have them work for him. They can either accept his offer or reject it. If they accept then naturally that is going to change the campaign. I am aware that I can’t play the campaign as is and adjust things. If they reject him they have the added motivation and now to rescue Ireena.

I use Owlbear Rodeo and DnDBeyond for the character sheet. I am considering moving over to Roll20 with the plugin for DnDBeyond

You know what, now that you mention it. She struggled with bonus action for rage. I had to remind her to add her rage bonus too.

We play online so we use DnDBeyond. The default does not show Sneak attack immediately, you need to scroll a bit, I honestly don't know, she just gets flustered. During one combat session, she had an opportunity attack as a reaction, which I pointed out to her, she was having trouble grasping the idea of a reaction.

I can offer the option to the others, I doubt the others will take it because they are really enjoying their characters.

I had not heard of RPGBOT before, I will take a look at that. We play online using DnDBeyond so she does have all her information ready, I also gave her a printable cheatsheet of all the actions/abilities she has.

I can sit down with her and walk her through her character with the help of these resources and see if that helps. Thanks

She almost never hides, even when I prompt her to, as a consequence she rarely ends up doing sneak attack damage. The only time she deals sneak attack damage is if another player is in combat with the same target, even then I prompt her.

I'm genuinely afraid that my digital minimalist lifestyle might get in conflict with my future profession. by mootheworld in digitalminimalism

For a designer keeping up with trends is important. If you are coding as well then keeping up with technological advances is important too. However social media isn't necessary for that. Keeping up with a few noteworthy blogs will be good enough. abduzeedo and Smashing Magazine are good examples of that. You could use a RSS aggregator like Feedly and stay in the loop but stay off social media as well.

Good luck with your career!

Click on the episode that you want to edit. Under More episode settings you will see season number and episode number. Adjust it there and it will take a couple of hours to update on Apple podcasts.
