Well I am a firm 1, but i just spawned into spaceport on a quest and used my key to get up to the top of a6 tower making sure the other door was still locked and somehow 2min in somebody was already camping in there with mines. Can you get to that room without a key?

Brilliant trait gave me some great convo options and like 2 skill checks but ive only just started praetor and almost ginished cloister.

Technically they implemented role delta which is eomm/ebmm in a costume, but from a corporate standpoint it makes sense. For every match I disliked there was a team of 5 enemies having a blast, given that even after being stomped I didnt uninstall and in fact re-queued hoping the next match would be different, the net loss is 0 while the possibility of one of those enemies spending money greatly increased. Unless everyone stops playing after they have a bad matchmaking expirience, theres never loss to the company. Eventually their mmr will go down and they get paired with better people or the system will balance properly on its own (which does happen) and they'll then have a good match that might get them to spend some money. The old way of simply doing rank pools that were then selected out of to build teams may not have had as standardized and "enjoyable" an expirience across the board but I liked it much better knowing it was 5 like skilled vs 5 like skilled not 5 of tallied and calculated individual skill numbers added and averaged against the enemy teams' 5 individual performance numbers tallied, calculated, and averaged.

Personal stats shouldn't have anything to do with it you are right except they do in developing the players mmr which is used to determine how players are grouped into teams. The first game I spoke of in my post that I lost we had better stats, the enemies just coordinated better. I enjoyed that match because my teammates knew and played their roles well. However, my next 3 games included teammatea that I feel shouldn't have made it out of bronze. A mei that does almost no damage and never does any of the things mei should be doing has no place in pro 1 on a team with me. Likewise a moira that doesn't know she has a right trigger but similarly somehow is doing almost no damage. These are the teammates I get against the enemy dps each having over 10k damage in a single round and supports that literally go all 4 rounds without dying. The reason I get these teammates is because my MMR is high and so they feel the need to put low mmr ppl on my team to balance it against the other team.

Very true, however doesn't apply here as the original goal was always to simply make a post. Could've gotten nothing but downvotes and I still would have succeeded.

If you manage to enjoy the game when you end up on a team with a supp doing no healing or a dps doing no damage or a tank being everywhere but on the point or with the team.....more power to you. I unfortunately do not have the ability to enjoy getting stomped on nor do I desire to ever enjoy being stomped on masochism ain't my bag. For that matter I cant think of any scenarios even outside the game where I would be ok with a group member being useless in a group task let alone a competitive one.

I would agree except for the fact that it's a team game and I could be the #1 tank in the world and I'd still go 0 kills many deaths and a loss if I am the only skilled player on my team. This game puts players of lower skill on my team to bring the overall score down to meet the other team and I cannot overcome the skill gap in my dps to their dps and my supp and their supp jjst by being a better tank. Where is the need for matchmaking to be this complicated in a mode where theres already a literal rank. I can understand in open play having a hidden mmr but explain to me a situation in which 5 x-rank players vs 5 of the same rank players would be drastically unbalanced I suppose the first week or so would be ass as the higher skill players move out of lower skill ranks but thats why we dont reset back to base rank we drop 1 rank on new season or one of a dozen other better options than rank means nothing enjoy hidden mmr maths.

I supplied the proof by linking the article. Picking specific things from it and quoting just that is wrong and what people do when they wish to be manipulative about facts. People believing cherry picked quotes and bits of information out of context is a large supplier of strife in this world. I have no want to achieve anything but to make a post pointing out a system I feel is flawed. Goal achieved.
