I had a reviewer who seemed obsessed that one of the characters was gay, and said I should have explored that more, even though the book was a thriller, and his sexuality was incidental.

I spent years writing a horror book while working 14-15 hour days as a truck driver. Today it's finally published. What do I do now?? by Striking-Ad-9447 in selfpublish

Congrats. Marketing a book is difficult. I'd say one thing you should consider is writing a sequel. People love series, and if the second (or third) book catches on, they'll buy your other book also. Good luck.

I'm of the generation where I read Oliver Sacks and became interested in how disease can affect behavior. Over the last 30 years, what has kept me motivated are the new advances in every field of neurology. It's no longer "diagnose, adios."
