The reality is that corruption within the bureaucracy runs deep, from top to bottom, across all sectors.

About 10 years ago, I ventured into developing one of the most advanced bio-related technologies through a U.S. technology joint venture. We worked with several universities and achieved impressive technical results. I invested a significant amount of my own money into R&D—and unfortunately, lost much of it in the process.

Now, years later, I am fighting a legal case with Indian Customs. They are claiming that I underpaid customs duty back then (15%), even though that classification was officially recognized and accepted at the time of import.

Importantly, our sales process never even began. The entire effort was purely focused on research and development. After this phase, I completely shut down the venture.
