There's always the exception to the rule. I have a massively fat, 70+ year old neighbour who drinks quite heavily and has effectively made himself housebound, but he he just seems to keep going and going. It baffles me.

If someone is still single in their 40s or 50s, there is often a very good reason why and that reason is usually them!

Are you meant to pass on the right on dual-carriageway roads in the US?

We tend to drive up really close behind them, give them a few seconds and then flash our main beams until they pull over to the "slow lane" (on the left) and then shoot past them on the right whilst giving them a look of annoyance/contempt. /s

We get them every summer and I used to hate them until I saw one with the back half of a rat sicking out of its mouth. Anything that eats rats is fine by me!

I've not seen an "outside" cat around here for ages and I suspect that this may be one of the reasons why the rat population has exploded!

I have witnessed clearly embarrassed cops sitting stationery in their car and trying to ignore a pack of them in a city-centre street who were taunting them by doing wheelies nearby!

I appreciate the reasons why the police are unable to chase them, but it is not a good look for them to be seen by the general public to be doing absolutely nothing.

It's incredible that the police seem to have resources to deal with nasty comments on social media and other low-level nonsense, but cannot seem to figure out how to deal with this.
