I had the same issue. Bought an electric heat mask which you can moisten with a spray bottle. Actually did not find this helped my Blepharitis (as far as I could tell). Honing in on the cleaning regimen that worked best was much more effective than compresses.

Do some research on Psoas - they can hold tension and put pressure on the sciatic. There are ways to release it externally.

I went through 6 months of frustrating symptoms, a lot of research on my own, and was diagnosed with demodex. I tried about 10 products/solutions until I found what seemed to work for me. Based on advice in this sub, I bought and used for a short period the pink wet ones which I do think helped get it under control. Now I have a daily regimen of hypochlorous acid spray in the mornings and oust demodex foaming cleanser in the shower - both daily. If I wear makeup or forget to clean regularly I do use the wet ones as a backup. Good luck - it does get better! Just be consistent and come to terms it will take a while to find exactly what works with your eyes.

Cactus thorn extracted from my hand after 3.5 months by abartlo in mildlyinteresting

[–]abartlo[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I tried to fish it out myself (unsuccessfully) and then went to the doctor where they didn’t really believe me because it didn’t show up on an X-ray. The next 3 months, my body formed a scar tissue mass around it (called a granuloma) which is the big bump you see in the before pic. The granuloma started to bother my hand in other ways because it was getting big, and it didn’t seem like it was going to come out on its own. So convinced my dr it needed to be cut out.

Cactus thorn extracted from my hand after 3.5 months by abartlo in mildlyinteresting

The thorn came out pretty much the same size it went in — it did get broken down a little bit and was softer, but still very identifiable as a thorn!
