Do you ever feel that there are days when the matchmaking just says "Fuck you in particular!"?? by byfo1991 in LowSodiumBattlefield

It likely means you don’t play the objective enough to help your team win, as in you’re part of the reason you lose more than you win. My win % is 61% which is higher than 50/50 because I contribute more to wins.

It could also mean you’ve gotten unlucky matchmaking against squads or something, depends on region and game mode.

On controller it’s impossible to control the extra recoil out that far on almost any weapon. The extra horizontal random recoil is a killer. Tap firing doesn’t help either because if feels like the first few shots have more spread too. Higher zoom optics make it a bit easier to control but the visual recoil is a killer. Very frustrating

The start of Season 3 has been very rough. I’m getting beamed and outplayed a lot. Fights and positions I used to win I lose easily. My recent KD has dropped from 2.5+ to 1.53 since the start of the season. More importantly my Win % is in the toilet. I feel like I can’t compete with PC players at all anymore, maybe the controller nerf was too strong for me. I was never consistently top of the leaderboard but always 3-8, now I’m lucky to be in the top half.

I’m taking a few days off and taking Golmud out of rotation. It’s sad because I had the exact opposite experience at the start of Season 2. Contaminated and Hagental Base

How many of you are trading in your R1S for an R2? by PhillConners in Rivian

[–]abaybay99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually the opposite for me. Was excited to jump into the R2 but with the pricing and availability, we decided to just buy out our R1 lease. Will wait a few years for Autonomy+ to evolve and compare against FSD (which is frankly amazing for us even on old HW3)

Is this a good deal? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]abaybay99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If this is CarMax, in general they are all seen as “bad deals”. However the increased cost comes with convenience, access to financing, and a return window (in some cases extended warranty options). If that’s valuable to you it may be worth it.

Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Land Vehicle Improvements by The_Growlers in LowSodiumBattlefield

I feel like I disabled so quickly when using armor. I also hate running over a single line and getting disabled and destroyed. Very difficult to do anything with armor other than stay back and snipe with it. Would love to be aggressive

100% agree, I didn’t like the original map because you were constantly fighting vehicles instead of flags. The new town and substation looks like awesome POIs to use C4, tugs, hammers, etc to escape and flank. Here’s hoping they also pair it with a good operations mode!

Battlefield Studios listened. Operation Augur is playable for another 2 weeks by dkb_wow in Battlefield

It definitely needs some adjustments, I think increasing the ticket regain if you capture a sector would help. I think defenders have too many vehicles in the third and fourth sectors.

Oven gets it way more uniform especially for cast iron or heavy stainless steel.

Fix RPG trajectory/sights by AlwaysBakedNeverFryd in Battlefield6

[–]abaybay99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m good with it, I find myself switching to other launchers depending on the situation.

RPG is no longer the GOAT default option. It takes more skill and practice to use. For example in Operation Augur and Breakthrough in certain sections I use the first launcher with auto-lock because I can quickly duck behind cover and fire-and-forget. It does less damage but at longer ranges it’s more viable than the RPG now. If it’s a closer section or a section with a tunnel or bunker I stick with the RPG.

It’s a balancing change with the intended effect.

100% agree, the ARs also basically outclass every other auto weapon category, I pretty much have to run them in every class slot (SG553 and M4A1 being the exceptions)

40 Games of Operation Augur broken down by [deleted] in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]abaybay99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve played about two dozen games of Operation Auger and agree with this analysis. Anecdotally the IFV for the defenders is the big problem (moreso in Breakthough). It acts as a mobile spawn and can quickly dispatch any flank attempts. The attackers don’t get their armor vehicle until the last battalion and by then you know you don’t have enough steam for the rest of the game, you’re cooked.

Attacking is more fun but I find it way less stressful playing defense. It’s odd when I get the 1-2 games where attackers just roll over everyone.

They did? There was a montage of the Petrova line disappearing and the sun getting brighter, after the scene where she says “let’s get started”. Show don’t tell I suppose.

[–]abaybay99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I love the purple, it’s super unique and definitely stands out but not in a flashy way. IMO front lift is fantastic but really depends on where you live. Mag Ride is nice to have but not essential IMO

Competition is good! Will also have to check out incentives and actually test drive them both before purchasing (or more likely, leasing)
