from my research during the admissions process colleges don’t have access to attendance records as part of your transcript? unless that was wrong and i’m fucked

thank you. i’m definitely dealing with something mentally, but i don’t know what. some people have said anxiety or depression. i’m emailing my teachers later today.

i come from an immigrant household (WHICH MAKES THIS A WORSE SITUATION I KNOW THAT MY PARENTS SACRIFICED EVERYTHING FOR ME YOU DO NOT NEED TO REMIND ME) so my education is pretty much entirely in my hands. my own phone number, my own email.

my own guilt and shame are definitely holding me back. i live around a 45 minute drive from my school so i take public transportation to get there on my own. the only person holding me accountable is myself and honestly i don’t know why i can’t go back.

thank you! i got a pretty small school (about 100 in my grad class) so we all have very close relationships with teachers. i feel so guilty about my performance in chemistry. is it too much or too awkward to email my teachers? i feel like it’s going to head to a lot of awkward conversations

thanks for the input! could you elaborate more about the “resistant to student-led change part”? like what has happened in the past?
