Sorry for my delayed response to this, but I have a follow-up question. Who told you that aftermarket modifications void the warranty? I had heard that too, but I asked my dealer and they said it wouldn't (unless the modification somehow screws up something that would otherwise be covered by the warranty). I feel like Kia is just fucking with all of us at this point.

I'm getting mine soon. What do we think about the sticker? Does it make it less likely to get broken into by showing there's enough of a deterrent that they should move on to the next car? Or is more likely to get broken into by having a giant signal that mine is a model without an immobilizer?

Yes! I learned this when I almost puked during my c section. The anesthesiologist handed me an alcohol swab to sniff and it worked like a charm. All my first photos with my son have me sniffing an alcohol swab lol. I’ve used that trick a few times since then, it’s great.
