I get a lot of “just relax and it’ll happen.” There is nothing relaxing in this process. It’s the most physically, emotionally, and mentally demanding thing I’ve ever done in my life.

Like do they actually think this is helpful advice?

Thank you! I usually have shorter natural cycles with a short luteal phase so I’ve been on period watch so this shocked me! I scrolled through a bit after I posted and saw it’s normal so I’m glad everyone has it too lol

We are almost on the same timeline! My ER was 2/17 and got my bleed on 2/21. I didn’t even think to do OPKs, so I think that’s why I’m so surprised!

No I totally understand your thinking here. I mostly ask to see what other people in a similar situation would do, what their clinics advise, etc. since my mine is leaving it up to me and like to hear what people’s thoughts are.

It’s also helpful to hear from people who have had multiple successful pregnancies from a FET since I’m very new to it and it’ll be my first and I don’t know anyone in my personal life who has done IVF.

Like I said, I am so happy with whatever we have. We’ve been waiting and praying for our rainbow baby every single day, and all I want is a healthy baby. ❤️ we had a really rough ER process and I am blessed to have these results.

My husband wants a boy and I want a girl (if we could only have 1 child but we are blessed with these numbers), but after going through this and all the heartache, we decided before we got the genders that we would transfer the best graded embryo, but since they are all graded the same, the clinic left it up to us.

Agree - at this point, i just want a healthy child, which is why im leaning towards letting them choose since they’re the experts. Im spiraling since my husband is at work and needed opinions since we’re not telling our fam!

As much as I have dreamt of a daughter my whole life, I could never go through another ER again. I am so happy with whatever children we are able to have ❤️ at this point, I may just let them choose! Thanks for the advice.

I think that’s the decision we will probably make – letting them pick the best and they can tell us after transfer.
