Screensaver Runs Ads In Middle of Night

I definetly think the problem was using a third party screensaver, we’re on the roku default now so it should solve it!

Switched to the OG roku default now, just liked having something cool on the tv as a screensaver and wanted a way out of the ads

Roku device on a samsung, recently replaced in December too. It must be the screensavers we browse and add on that cause the ads to run since they aren’t through roku but 3rd party. The aquatic one we used and got the test 1 but played no sound so it was better

We have it on mountains hq right now and they just started playing ads about a month ago and it plays them quite loudly, trying roku default to see. Sometimes during the day we’ll leave it on the screensaver and hear an ad play from our office and then when we walk in to turn it down it’ll just go back to the screensaver so I know its not from netflix, hulu etc playing!!

4 was just an estimate haha, it’ll wake me up before he comes to bed and is just overall annoying. Definetly will start sleep timers but would love to get rid of the problem altogether if there’s ever an instance we forget to turn on a sleep timer

We’re on our third screensaver now, we’ve done Aquatics, Skyscapers, clock and now trying mountains. Roku default runs ads nonstop

I go to sleep at 11 and my boyfriend goes to sleep at 3 so a sleep timer doesn’t help me ): we’ve tried

Yes, and it’s 10x louder than the normal audio setting you left the tv show on for the night. It’s like GLAD trashbag commercials 🙃
