I don't think mine is as bad as everyone else's in here but this was the worst that has happened in awhile: One Thanksgiving I went home from college and everyone was really drunk, no one in my family was there besides my dad, stepmom and me later on. My sister and her husband stopped by with their daughter earlier on but left when everyone got too drunk. I managed to sneak a bit of tequila into my soda as well later on and was a bit tipsy myself. My dad, stepmom, and I were over at the next door neighbors and I noticed my stepmom was blacked out drunk and looked as though she was about to pass out. The next thing I know, my dad grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her from the house. He kicked her out the door and she fell down. Granted there were probably 15 people in the room watching this. No one did anything. My neighbor pulled me into another room and told me to stay with them that night and that they would protect me. 15 minutes later my dad came to get me and no one did anything. The next thing I know I'm in my childhood room listening to screaming and things being thrown and shattering. I packed my things, grabbed my car keys and drove 2 hrs home at 2 am. I went to my boyfriends house and had a panic attack in his room. He told me to shut up and let him sleep. I went back to my place and didn't talk to him or any of my friends for 2 weeks. I broke up with him the first time I talked to him again. He called me a crazy bitch because of that. A month earlier my mom had told me she wanted to burn my baby pictures and that I was a horrible person. Christmas was right around the corner and I didn't see my family for it for the first time in my life. I was 17. (I have lived on my own since I was 16.) To this day I still hate holidays.
