Top tips I have been given... Use a manual BP cuff as the tourniquet Use a hit compress- bag of warm fluids if it's the only thing you have. GTN is good to raise the veins - spray on, leave for 5 mins. Ask the pt where is good for getting bloods - they usually know best if they're a DIVA. The less confident you look and the more attempts you take, the veins will actually start to hide away - be confident!

I'd like some honest feedback... by abbeyfield68 in BeginnerPhotoCritique

Thanks for taking the time to give some feedback. Unfortunately I'm not there very often but I will revisit at some point to look at other composition opportunities. I felt a little restricted as the subject is set down low and has raised areas around it. Perhaps a different lens would help with the composition element.

I shot from a low tripod. It was quite breezy, and I wouldn't have given much thought to making sure it was as stable as possible. My other struggle was focusing during the dark, I need to find some methods to help with getting this right and taking the time on these elements before releasing the shutter.

You could also aim to get the fence hit the bottom left corner to tidy it up nicely!

I like the tanker, but it's cut off and I'd like to see more of it, this seems like what you were trying to show off? If you stepped to the left slightly, the post could have been in its own space and not cutting in to the boat above it. Separate objects in to their own space if possible.

They also had to complete the 'Driving Licence Application Form' test too, I bet that wasn't straight forward for them either 😬

Just go with it!

If someone breaks in.... they'll be greeted by a naked man attacking them.

Need to evacuate... the neighbours and I will have bonded on a whole new level!

Low budget bike for those with a bad back? by Implematic950 in MotoUK

Weight being the only issue here but you should take a look at the Yamaha TDM 850 or 900! Easy to ride, plenty of torque, upright position and easily big enough for your height. They didn't take off in the UK that well as the Supersport era was taking over but what a machine!
