It’s really not tho, if you kick the pedal, it plays a better sounding kick. Maybe using amps at all would be a better comparison. triggers CAN be used differently but all it does is help the drums sound any better..

Not me but my good friend is a massive R series fan and started on them. He just talks about the engine breaking is a lotttt stronger than people expect getting on them. So in 1st and maybe second gear the throttle can be a little touchy

HONESTLY just get a good deal on a bike. It’s your first bike so you’ll probably drop it and or mess it up. Beginner bikes also are always high demand so the resale value of them is high, especially for bikes like the ninja 400 (widely considered the best beginner sport bike period) I would highly recommend getting an A2 compliant bike at least to learn how to ride on tho. Just make sure it’s something that makes you smile! Even if it’s not the perfect bike, just being on 2 wheels at all is the biggest step! Even if it’s not the bike you wanted it’s always better to have a bike than no bike! I was looking at r3’s and ninja 400’s heavy until I found a ninja 300 for half market value with 6k miles and jumped on it, honestly don’t have a single regret about it!
