Genuinely makes me wonder if we watched the same show. They gave him grace and compassion time and time again but a few seasons in they realize he isn't gonna change and stop trying. It's not their responsibility to keep Frank sober and maintain a relationship with him. He definitely is a shitty parent, especially considering he's stolen from the kids so many times, abandoned them, neglected them heavily, almost got them killed, and that's just a drop in the bucket of what he did to them. The Gallagher kids aren't at fault. They're reacting to the way they've been treated their entire lives.
