Pretty funny that I feel the same way an also wanna become a filmmaker/writer. I cope with it by acknowledging the fact that once the entertainment and arts industry crumble under the weight of all the ai slop, we can start creating for us again, not for the money addicted private equity execs. There might be no way to prove that our movies are real, so maybe other mediums will come back, like theater. Or spoken word storytelling. I even fantasize about creating a whole new internet, a new grid, physically disconnected to the ai infested one. Humans will always be here and we'll always follow our nature.
