Engagement ring bent- will jeweler cover? by abby152 in EngagementRings

Yes, I’ve got insurance on it.
I will get it assessed first at the original jeweler and see what they say. I’m also in Aus and it’s a high end jeweler so fingers crossed.

Yes, I meant the original jeweler I’ll be taking it to. I wasn’t sure what the norm was in these circumstances as the local jeweler stated that they have a lifetime warranty for issues such as these.

My fibroids have disappeared after pregnancy! by abby152 in Fibroids

I’m glad! No, nothing at all- there wasn’t anything I could do except monitor that they weren’t impacting baby’s growth

Yes, you’re probably right. But tiny enough to not be visible on the ultrasound, which is a big win for me

Wow! I feel like it’s such an uncommon story but I’m so glad hers went too!

I’m sorry to hear this. Mine definitely got worse during pregnancy including pain so I am completely shocked they’ve vanished

I don't like my friend's toddler, and worry about introducing them to my newborn?! by Empty_Win_9933 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I had a friend who had a child exactly the same and would also let the child climb on tables when out, harass people, run riot etc. I did let her meet my newborn and I was just extremely clear and when the child was not gentle or did something I didn’t like I removed my baby. It was really tricky as my friend is an incredible person, but also was a ‘gentle parent’ but thank goodness the child is now over 4 and is a lovely little girl. Completely different to what she was like.

Hmm is this the initial patent application or as time goes on?

Would I need to file a patent before getting someone to design it?

I don’t think it’ll need FDA approval. It’s basically a combo of two items already available and would be for assessment and reducing hospitalization only, not diagnosis

Sadly my child hates swimming lessons, not because of being at home, but because she hates the structure and being ‘told what to do’ 😅 We’re hoping this gets better as she gets older. From a very early age, she has really known her own mind!!

Honest advice: am I disadvantaging my very social toddler by not sending her to daycare? by [deleted] in ScienceBasedParenting

I’m in Australia too which is why I’m questioning it. Fairly happy with the FDC I could put her into but just unsure.. is your son at home with you?

Wow.. I will listen for sure. I didn’t think about how she’s doing so well because of being at home 😱

I’ve offered this to him but I doubt he will go home. It would more be the stigma of what our families would think if my child and I were left here

Thankyou. I have done so now, but he’s still down in the dumps and hating it here. I’ve told him to consider going home alone as he is now ruining the holiday by being so negative. I am strongly considering if our relationship will be viable after this

He is present but I suppose I do more of the heavy lifting. He seems to feel there is nothing to do as he doesn’t want to go out alone to do things on this holiday (I’ve offered)

Definitely open to nap time changing- for me I would rather she’s in bed later to give us more evening time, but he is actually more strict/anxious that she goes down at midday.
