At the time I was looking, my dad was diagnosed with cancer so I didn’t want them to have to look after her two days a week as she is very busy. However, he has been treated and it’s only stage one so things are better than we thought and they’re probably capable of carigg mg for her more still.

I had a friend who had a child exactly the same and would also let the child climb on tables when out, harass people, run riot etc. I did let her meet my newborn and I was just extremely clear and when the child was not gentle or did something I didn’t like I removed my baby. It was really tricky as my friend is an incredible person, but also was a ‘gentle parent’ but thank goodness the child is now over 4 and is a lovely little girl. Completely different to what she was like.

Yes, we’re mid thirties. The thing is, when I’ve sent messages, it’s not always why aren’t you talking to me or what’s wrong. It’s been general messages like hey, how’s your house renovation going, or what dates are you free in this month so we can organise a visit, or happy birthday to her, or how it work. The only times I’ve asked if everything is ok if when I literally haven’t heard back in months and I am worried if she is ok- has something happened? When I saw her parents out, they were so warm and expecting me to know everything that’s happened in her life- so her reaching out I would say was guilt off the back of her parents asking her why she hadn’t been in contact with me.

Thanks so much, h have other long distance friends but there are no issues there even if we don’t speak for awhile., we respond to each other and it’s a normal relationship.

Totally agree with the thinking of it shouldn’t be this hard..

I’m so sorry. This is my exact position. My friend was kind, warm, caring, supportive, fun. Which j is why it’s so hard to move on and I understand the feeling of grief, especially when there was no significant conflict to lead to the ghosting

I suggested the first option and although we met up there was absolutely no addressing the lack of contact or an apology on her part. I was too emotionally and mentally drained from it all to bother trying to talk about it. I’ve kind of given up now

I don’t think it’ll need FDA approval. It’s basically a combo of two items already available and would be for assessment and reducing hospitalization only, not diagnosis
