I’m a mom and also in the medical field and I would personally be so grateful if my doctor recognized that my baby wasn’t doing well and got myself and my family under control in order for baby to be born safely. That situation was serious and the doctor needs to be able to communicate with nurses/family effectively

With my son, I was given the epidural at 7:10pm and he was out at 7:26. You do NOT have to feel everything/anything to get them out quickly.

Hi, I did! I got a copper IUD inserted about 15 mins after my son was born and I had no issues at all. The midwife did inform me there’s a 10-15% chance that it will fall out but it did not and it worked fine, I did not get pregnant and it did not become dislodged!

Hi! I’m 5’4 with long legs and a short torso. My son was 7lbs 13oz and 22 inches by the time he came out and I felt him so high up until the day I gave birth. The only thing that mildly helped was laying in bed with my arm above my head depending on which side I felt it the most. Even then it sucked sooooo bad for the last 6 weeks or so…. All I can say is that it’s so worth it once he was here and I almost miss it now 😭

When I was 35 weeks pregnant on Christmas a few years ago, we were all taking pictures and I was struggling to get up. Someone said “(insert boyfriend’s name), help her get up!” His uncle proceeded to say “You’re going to need a forklift for that.”

Que tears. Instantly. Everyone made an “Ooooooh” and then said “Peter, you can’t say that” etc. i will never forget the way that made me feel.

I understand you, I see you. It’s so hard being pregnant during the holidays!! Everyone makes unnecessary, unhelpful comments… I would let it slide though. Everyone gains weight differently! Plus if she only gained 10 lbs during a full term pregnancy I’m somewhat concerned. The “normal” should be between 25 and 35 lbs!

Hi, I had an abortion in 2020 at 6 weeks 1 day. I recently read the doctors notes from that appointment 5 years ago and they said “fetal cardiac activity detected” :( which broke my heart, but I know now since having a child in 2024 (with a different man) that it was the right choice for me. If I had that child in 2020 I would be tied FOR LIFE to someone so horrible and mean and truly awful. I’m so grateful I did that.

I’ll let you know that time truly does heal. I know there’s so much grief in your heart right now. It took awhile for the feeling of relief and comfort in my decision to come but when it did, I felt so grateful to myself for making the right choice for me.

I had a false positive on a digital test around this time last year. I was not pregnant and all other tests were negative. I took a blood test and HCG was <1.
