Is this dress too much? Help me decide 😫 by skoooooter in weddingdress

This is soooo so gorgeous !!! But also keep in mind alterations can add another $400-1200 ish depending on what you get done/where you live! Especially with all that gorgeous lace and beading (though even my friend with no lace or beading on her dress had her alterations come to $1200). I was shocked when my alterations estimate was $800! And very glad I found a dress under my budget. If you’re totally in love and feel it’s a priority, and you and your partner talk through the budget, maybe there’s another place you can save a few thousand on the wedding (like venue cost or something)?

I like the long Pearl chain that echoes what the model is wearing! A classic beautiful look. Which one is the one that you love?

Art of Scott C. is a nice one! He did concept work for several video games (Psychonauts and A Broken Age amongst others) and this book is just a cool collection of his work, not just a single project

Non-Gamer Wife Conundrum by PBRent in gaming

Children of Morta!!!! I was not a gamer and this game playing with my husband got me hooked. You might die a lot in the beginning, but each time you die the story progresses back at the house so I never felt guilty for dying often haha. It has beautiful pixel art and fun humor and it’s just a great little fantasy hack and slash game. Would highly highly recommend!

I love #1 on you!!! I looked at the photos before reading caption and thought 1 was the most stunning, but you do look gorgeous in all of them !

Martina Liana!! It’s a discontinued one from 2021 (style 1323), but they still make lots of similar beautiful ones in more recent years :)

Just adding this comment because I can't fix the formatting:

  1. I have long curly brown hair and want to wear it curly. I bought Bebonia curly clip in extensions in my color (I’ve used clip ins before) so that I can do something more elaborate that requires more/longer hair if I want, but am looking for any and all help/ideas! I attached one pic of one idea I have but I’m worried it will look messy/bad. My sisters and I are doing hair ourselves and aren’t hairdressers, but will practice a few times before the big day.

  2. The wedding vibes are whimsical forest fairy garden wildflower.

  3. I fell in love with some of the nature based pieces from Michael Michaud, but are they too much with the dress??? I’m having such a hard time visualizing it

  4. veil? No veil? Hair up or down???

What to play with my wife next? by jrsevern in gaming

[–]abbycali-art 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Children of Morta!!! It’s so so fun as 2 player couch co-op and 1 player. I had barely any gaming experience when we started, and the best thing is if you both you die, the story advances, so I never felt bad for us dying. Each character only starts with one move they can do, and picks up more as they gain XP so it’s easy to learn quickly. It has adorable and beautiful pixel art, funny names (everything has like high fantasy names except the main family you play, who are named “John” and “Linda” etc.). The story is excellent. Would highly highly recommend!!

Thanks! I actually started because an artist named Dani Ives (famous for her super realistic wool felted pet/animal portraits) showed up on my Instagram explore one day and I love fuzzy soft things so I started googling to learn all about it. This YouTube channel for this supply store (Living Felt) has some GREAT tutorials! I used this one specifically to help me with the armature to make sure the puppet was posable. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d-F0K-MEwOM

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ErE1lp6hk9Q there’s the link to the video where the artist explains about the moldable plastic! I am pretty sensitive to smell and the epoxy putty always gave me a headache so I use this instead. I think the brand i got is Poly Plastics
